ADHD mom: Try this tonight

Okay, I came here to say that I’m pretty sure parenting gets easier once they grow up a little. I’m not 100% positive, but I guess we will find out.

The first few months of your child’s life were probably a blur. Even to this day, I still think, “Oh we should have just one more. I can totally do it!” because I literally can’t remember what it was like to stay up all night to care for a newborn. Or all of the feeding struggles both of my girls had.

Wait… I do think I remember forgetting to brush my teeth before noon every morning of maternity leave! HA! I know I’m not the only one.

Then, their first birthday hits and you’ve moved past bottles and are almost done with “baby clothes” (insert teary- sad face). You sit down after their first birthday party and can’t believe it’s been a whole year since that crazy, destructive tiny human blessed this Earth.

After a few months go past and all of the sudden you have two children under two years old- shit really gets real then.

This second baby is the sweetest and can do no wrong. Unfortunately, she has a few issues that make her first year a emotional roller coaster.

Today, with my 2.5 year old and 14 month old daughters, I do forget some of the sweet moments of their lives so far.
